My name is Allison and I’ll be your cruise ship director on this journey. I’m a firm believer in preserving memories, but I’m also kind of lazy and don’t want to deal with what is often involved with that. So I’m here to help the average, everyday person (who is also perhaps lazy like I am) to create some really cool scrapbooks, journals, and projects that don’t involve a lot of time, money or effort.
I’m 37 years old, have been married to my husband Steve for almost 11 years now, and we have two daughters… Grace who is 8 and Hannah who is 6. We also have a dog named Molly who–for all intents and purposes–is a mutt, so I have no clue how to respond when people ask what kind of dog she is.
I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Professional Writing. I’m a technical writer by trade (that means I write really boring things like computer software manuals and marketing reports that no one reads unless threatened with termination from their boss). I fell into that after graduation and I’d be lying if I said I loved it, but it helps pay the bills so I suck it up and do what I can.
I’m self-taught in Photoshop and photography, but that proves right there that anyone can do what I do when it comes to this stuff (just trust me on this one).
